Gerardo is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in providing therapy for individuals, teens, children, couples, and families.


With more than 25 years of counseling experience in Canada and 5 years in Mexico, Gerardo has developed extensive expertise in his field.


He holds a master's degree in psychotherapy and has earned postgraduate certification in gestalt psychotherapy, along with certificates in emotion-focused therapy, sex therapy, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, brief narrative therapy, neurofeedback and clinical hypnotherapy. Additionally, Gerardo practices yoga and mindfulness.


In his practice, he employs positive psychotherapy techniques to help individuals harness their strengths and achieve a sense of equilibrium. His profound understanding and appreciation of human nature enable him to adopt an eclectic, open-minded, and non-judgmental approach to counseling. Gerardo firmly believes that everyone strives to do their best, even amid significant challenges. He highlights the crucial role of attaining mental health through the harmonious integration of the mind, body, emotions, spirit, and interpersonal relationships.


Gerardo has successfully completed an OPA-accredited clinical training course in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy with Breakthrough Therapy and One year Certificate Program in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies & Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS).
